Chapter 5 Notes 

• they always ate steak on saturday nights so when their parents asked what they were eating they would say steak so it seemed like they were eating full healthy meals.

•  many of the kids didn't eat the food the only kids that actually ate the food were the younger

kids who didn't know better or guys like ackley that ate everything

• holden wrote stradlater's composition about old Alli's baseball mitt.
